CANONSBURG, Pa., Oct. 20, 2015 — QUA, an innovator of advanced membrane technologies, announces that Fred Wiesler has joined the company as Director of Sales and Marketing.
Wiesler brings to his new position more than 30 years of experience in the water industry in both engineering and business development along with a successful track record that includes international sales and marketing, bringing new product lines to market, managing a global sales force, and developing business with OEMs and other industry suppliers.
Most recently, he was Global Director of Sales for Membrana, where he managed the sales function in 56 countries, 20 markets and five industry sectors. Earlier in his career, he served in various engineering roles such as process and applications engineering.
Wiesler’s deep experience encompasses a wide range of water treatment technologies including Electrodeionization, Reverse Osmosis, Ultrafiltration, UV and Ion Exchange and such markets as the semiconductor, power, pharmaceutical, fine chemical, and food & beverage industries.
He earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook.
