QUA – Pure Technology

CeraQ™

Ceramic Ultrafiltration Membranes

CeraQ is a ceramic ultrafiltration membrane that offers superior performance in challenging oil removal applications, making it ideal for wastewater treatment and reuse in a wide range of industries such as oil & gas, petrochemicals, refinery, food & beverage, and textiles. It is available in different pore sizes to address diverse applications with higher degree of particulate removal at a higher flux. This membrane has excellent mechanical strength, cost-efficiency, and filtration quality to meet a wide range of industrial applications.

Learn More About CeraQ™

Address Challenging Wastewater Conditions

Ideal for challenging water conditions like wastewater with high fouling and high process temperatures.

High-Quality Permeate

CeraQ ceramic ultrafiltration membranes deliver exceptional water quality, achieving 6-log bacteria and 4-log virus removal.

Robust Material of Construction

The CeraQ membrane’s proprietary coating and alumina-based construction enables it to withstand aggressive cleaning, cracking, delamination, and thermal cycling.

Reliable Operation

CeraQ ceramic ultrafiltration membranes ensure a long service life, consistent performance, and highly reliable operation with minimal downtime & maintenance.

Fouling Resistance

CeraQ’s innovative tubular configuration effectively eliminates dead pockets, significantly reducing membrane fouling with a high degree of permeance recovery.

How Does CeraQ™ Work?

CeraQ ceramic membranes function by physically separating substances based on particulate size through a porous ceramic structure. The principle involves a cross-flow filtration process where the feed liquid flows through the membrane tubes, and larger particles, including suspended solids, colloidal impurities are filtered while smaller ones pass through as permeate.

Applications of CeraQ™

Oil water separation

Drinking water filtration

Industrial process water

Reverse osmosis pre-treatment filtration

Food and beverage processing
